BIG SUR PROPOSAL AT VENTANA CAMPGROUND
In the serene beauty of Big Sur's redwood forest, a heartwarming wedding proposal took place for Isabelle and Ethan. It was the greatest honor capturing these precious moments forever through our lens. The couple was set up at their tent on the Ventana Campground. We couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect place for this proposal. They were immersed in the breathtaking surroundings as sunlight filtered through the towering trees. Just so dreamy.
Ethan had it all planned from the wooden ring box that perfectly matched the redwoods to the private balcony at Alila Ventana Big Sur we had all to ourselves. The balcony overlooked the pretty blue California coast and the sun was high and shining. It made for some of our most favorite photos to date. We couldn’t be more excited for Isabelle and Ethan. It was an absolute privilege to have been chosen to photograph such a pivotal moment in their lives and relationship. Cheers to the newly engaged couple!
Why Big Sur?
Big Sur, California, is a rugged and breathtakingly beautiful stretch of coastline along the central coast of the state. Known for its dramatic cliffs, majestic redwood forests, pristine beaches, and panoramic ocean views. The region is located along California's Highway 1, winding through the Santa Lucia Mountains, offering stunning vistas of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the lush greenery of the mountains on the other. Driving along this iconic highway is an unforgettable experience, with each turn revealing a new postcard-worthy scene. Big Sur also boasts some of the most iconic landmarks in California. McWay Falls, a waterfall cascading onto a beach. Bixby Creek Bridge, with its arches. The region's natural wonders don't end at the coastline. Going a little inland, Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, and Andrew Molera State Park are just a few of the gems that are unlike anything else on the coast.
