Mckenzie and Albert’s editorial bridal session was nothing short of a dream. These two eloped earlier this year and didn’t have a chance to hire a photographer for their big day. When Kenzie reached out to book bridals, I couldn’t have been more honored or excited! Fun fact: Kenzie is a wedding hair and makeup artist, and we first met while working a wedding together! She’s absolutely stunning and, together with Albert, makes the sweetest pair!

A Dreamy Golden Hour Editorial Bridal Session in California

We started in Downtown San Luis Obispo to capture some modern and editorial vibes. The energy of downtown paired perfectly with Kenzie’s timeless style! The way these two laughed and leaned into the moment made it so easy to snap their editorial bridal photos.

After exploring downtown, we headed to Morro Rock Beach in Morro Bay for some coastal views. Living near the beach is such a blessing, and the golden hour light over the waves couldn’t have been more perfect. Kenzie and Albert were super laid back, going with the flow and soaking in every moment. It was the perfect blend of an editorial downtown feel and a dreamy beach sunset session.
