A Playful, Fairytale Engagement Session in Solvang

When Lucas and Rachel told us they wanted an engagement session that felt like a fairytale, I knew we had to find the perfect spot that would capture their love for the outdoors! We ended up in the enchanting town of Solvang, California. We were nestled among the trees, wildflowers, and a gently flowing creek. It was such a gorgeous location for L + R and we cannot wait for you to see the final results.

These two are the definition of adventure-loving! Hiking and exploring the great outdoors is their go-to date. They’re drawn to the forest and mountains far more than the beach. So, when they mentioned their upcoming wedding by a lake in the forest, we knew this location would be perfect for their engagement photos.

These photos were filled with a soft, golden light filtering through the trees, wildflowers in full bloom, and L + R in matching Blundstones. It was like stepping into a real-life fairytale! Rachel’s beautiful, curly hair danced in the breeze as they laughed and twirled around. The whole scene captured their young, freshly engaged love in a way that felt so authentic and magical!!
